This is on the issue of those who did have faith in spiritualism and/or new age as a psychic and/or mediums (spirit communicator), and they realise it's not real magical powers, and so they think it is best to continue to make a living off the skill even though they no longer have a mystical faith.
Just to add, I had faith in it, as many of you know, I got out it long before I made money off it, but IF I had got on stage as a psychic then i may have considered holding on to the act even if I realised the gift was just delusion and linguistic tricks, I suggest that many psychics could start out from faithful routes.
