James Randi - Secrets of the Psychics Documentary (Full)

James "The Amazing" Randi is the perfect mix of Science and Magic, a true conjurer of visual machinations that can fool our senses while, at the same time, explaining to us how our senses are fooled.

In my opinion this is the best example of a "human mind debugger", he gets right into the machinations of analog tricks and sees how our brains mistakenly manifests them as a possible reality. Randi also teaches us that illusion and trickery may be comforting to the human mind, but truth is far much more wonderful as it shows us the machinations from the chaos, the sense as well as the awe in both the tricks and the real world.

For several decades, Randi has gone on to expose hundreds of psychics and teach millions across the globe about how they could be fooled into believing in a system which could potentially make them vulnerable to trickery and perhaps psychical harm.

Randi is not afraid to go against popular opinion, as shown in his battle against so-called psychic Uri Geller in the late 1970's and early 1980's.

Randi has also gone against the bizarre practice of faith "healing" and contacting the deceased, and has exposed the cruel, callous and cynical nature of the people who claim to be performing "God's will", such as Peter Popoff.

Randi has also warned us time and time again about the fraudulent practice that is homeopathic medicine and how it is essentially water solution, dished out as hocus-pocus medicine.

James Randi is the founder of The James Randi Educational Foundation, an organisation that attempts to bring reason to world by luring potential psychics into a trap, baited by a million dollar prize to prove their psychic "powers". "powers" here is a kind of vague term,as Randi knows, so the tests are usually on the so-called psychic's terms. No self-acclaimed psychic has ever won the prize.

Whether or not some form of psychic power exists is still an open question, however many psychics often do not properly gauge their so-called skills and instead brag about them, hence scepticism about such claims should not be so strange to their ears.

Unfortunately the vast amount of psychic powers they have seem to remove all self-esteem as many psychics are often uneasy about Randi's reasonable request and attractive million dollar reward.

Proof That Hollywood Medium Tyler Henry Is Totally Fake

It may not come as a surprise, but Hollywood Medium's Tyler Henry may not be the "clairvoyant, and medical intuitive" he says he is. On his reality show, Henry and his mom visit celebrities' homes to connect with their deceased loved ones. But it's hard to believe that this young man supposedly knows nothing about the celebrities he meets with. Doesn't he have a TV? Here are all the reasons why Hollywood Medium is a sham...

Yvette Fielding and Karl Beattie Caught Bullying and Humiliating Innocent Teenager on Twitter

Yesterday (7th December 2016), Yvette Fielding was lucky enough to go to a spa!
It was all going well until her Ladyship Yvette was annoyed by another client at the spa.
She tweeted out the following to her 52,000 followers

Source: https://twitter.com/Yfielding/status/806478370888384512

What followed was lots of people attacking this random person, being nasty and so on.
But thing took a nasty turn when she took a "sneaky pic" and published it online.
I have edited the lads face to protect his identity. Yvette did NOT edit it, instead wanting to humiliate the lad.

Even Yvette's husband Karl Beattie joined in the bullying, by quoting her tweet and sharing with his 26,000 followers the following.

Now the problems began when someone pointed out that this young man might have some kind of disability, or have some kind of special needs. A lot of people were offended that Yvette and Karl would use their celebrity as a way to humiliate and bully an innocent young man on Twitter to their combined 77,000 followers.

Of course after it was brought up that this lad might have some kind of disability, Yvette quickly deleted the photo, but then also went into defensive mode, and even tried to play the victim herself!

Karl even live streamed himself on Periscope attacking people for daring to suggest that Yvette or himself had done anything wrong.

You can watch that video at https://www.periscope.tv/w/1RDGloAanXmKL
I have also made a copy of the video below incase he decides to delete the Periscope video

Karl also posted the following Tweet, again trying to deflect from the fact his wife abused an innocent young lad on Twitter and tried to humiliate him.

Since this all kicked off yesterday a debate has been raging as to whether or not what Yvette did was ok or not. Would it be ok to humiliate and bully an innocent young lad on twitter if he is not disabled? Or is it only wrong if he is disabled or has some kind of special needs.

Is the young lad disabled or does he have special needs? I honestly do not know. But let us look at the facts.
A woman in the public eye, who has over 50,000 followers on Twitter decided to take a secret photo of an innocent young man, in a spa, she then published that photo, along with other abusive tweets with the sole intention of humiliating and bullying him.

At best this was Yvette abusing, humiliating and bullying a young lad, at worse this was the kind of discrimination that has landed certain people in a lot of hot water, I am reminded of the recent case of a model " Dani Mathers" taking a "sneaky pic" of a 70 year old woman in a changing room “with the intent to invade the privacy of that other person”  Dani Mathers is now having to go to trial and could face 6 months in prison and a fine.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/nov/04/dani-mathers-playboy-model-snapchat-gym-locker-room-lawsuit

Clearly what Yvette did is not as bad as taking a photo of a naked 70 year old woman to body shame her, but Yvette did take a photo of a teenager, with the sole purpose of humiliating and shaming him. And by taking the photo she did invade his privacy, especially if the spa they were in is a private members spa, then there is an assumption of privacy. Her photo could very well have broken the law. And I have been told that police have been informed and are investigating, although I doubt anything will come of it, unless the boy and his family were to complain, but I doubt they are even aware of what Yvette did.

Also Bannatyne Group (Owners of the Spa) are now investigating to see if their own privacy rules were broken. Best they could do is ban Yvette and Karl from all Bannatyne businesses!

Regardless of whether or not he has special needs, what she did was wrong, and instead of apologising for getting things really wrong, she is now playing the victim, getting lots of sympathy from her followers who now claim that Yvette is the one being bullied! Yes the irony there is amazing.

Lets hope that these nasty comments by Yvette and Karl come back to haunt them! (Yes I did just say that)

Was Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live a Success or a Failure?

After last year's Most Haunted Live (which you can see HERE) was surrounded by yet more claims of fraud and generally bad publicity all round for UKTV, this year UKTV decided to relegate Most Haunted to a pre recorded online only stream for one night, and replace it with a brand new shiny show called Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live, this was their main test for a replacement show since clearly Most Haunted is not the ratings pull it once was.

First they decided to bring in UK Haunted, a Ghost Hunting group with a dubious track record, but generally quite well regarded by gullible children and middle aged housewives. And then throw in some Z List "celebs", and see what happened.

Unfortunately the very first night the show got exposed for faking, and after that the show never quite got going, just really poor production, boring celebs, and a lack of interest from people which was clear to see on social media.

But all that matters is the ratings as we all know, so was the 5 night spectacular a worthy replacement of Most Haunted Live, or a big pile of stinking horse manure? Lets take a look at the ratings on UKTV Owned channel W.

Night 1 - Thursday 27th Oct - 209,000 Viewers (add another 50,000 for W+1 only for this night)
Night 2 - Friday 28th Oct - 206,000 Viewers
Night 3 - Saturday 29th Oct - 192,000 Viewers
Night 4 - Sunday 30th Oct - 183,000 Viewers
Night 5 - Monday 31st Oct - 131,000 Viewers

Note: W has a +1 channel, only Thursdays episode shows as in the top 10, adding an extra 50k viewers, all other nights dont even make the top 10 meaning the 1 Hour later airing got less than 10k viewers.

Just take a close look at the final night, that was HALLOWEEN night!! And it got the lowest amount of views. And to put it in perspective Masterchef Australia, got more viewers than Celebrity Haunted Hotel on every night it aired in the 7pm or 8pm slot.

Speaking to my contact at UKTV I asked what the producers of the show had said behind closed doors, regarding their hopes for the show, its future and those involved, they expected that the show would grow in viewers each night, that was the hope, but they actually LOST viewers from episode to episode!

Regarding the main celeb hosts, no surprises there, you always know what you are getting with someone like Christine Lampard, so the Producers were happy with her, but what about the UK Haunted crew members, did any of them impress the producers? Well only Emily Exley and Alex Duggan made a good impression, and UKTV might be interested in using them again, but for the rest, here is what I was told.

Miki York, was too wooden and not a natural in front of the camera.
Jolene Lockwood, an ego out of control, with tickets on herself, they really did not like her.
Barri Ghai, he made such a small impact that people kept forgetting his name, and often when mentioned to staff, they would reply with "who?" The funny thing is he could be brought back on to TV not because they like him, but purely by accident when looking for someone who works in the field, and his name comes up.
Alex Gibbs (The fake medium), they referred to her as the "TOWIE wannabe", so that is the impression they have of her.

So there you have it.
Celebrity Haunted Hotel was a complete disaster from start to finish. Terrible ratings suggest it wont be brought back any time soon. Although UKHaunted don't care, since they have put their prices up for "Ghost Hunts" and proudly boast the "as seen on TV" banner on their advertisements, but the truth is, they got their big chance to replace Most Haunted, and failed miserably.

So the question remains, will Most Haunted be given another chance to do a Live show? The regular show is incredibly cheap for UKTV to purchase, roughly £5000 per episode! Yep that is all UKTV have to pay for it and yes it costs MORE Than that for Antix to make too!

How about they commission a "Skeptics Do Halloween Live" for next year. here is my pitch, we get a bunch of the top UK skeptics, and try to scare them. Could be fun!
